Something tells me I might regret not buying the life time membership for 200 bucks…..oh well…

Oh man! Why oh why do they have to tease me with two MMORPG’s that are in Beta. Conan or Warhammer, Conan or Warhammer….on and on. Every time I see something new I lean towards one then the other releases something that is just as cool if not cooler and I lean back to the other. And NO, I don’t have time to play both!

Dark Elf Career - Witch Elf

Witch Elves go around with their scantily clad armor and their enormous hair and their nasty daggers, and they sneak up on people. Dark Elf Career - Black Guard

High Elf Career - Swordmaster

The Conqueror

The Conqueror is the heart and soul of any party in Hyboria. Conquerors fill two roles, first, as an impressive fighter on the front lines soaking up the damage and dishing out damage of their own, and second, as an inspirational presence that makes the party prevail where it would normally falter. All foes that get within the conqueror’s reach fall before their weapons, and all friends that stand nearby find themselves heartened, ready and eager to carry on the fight. A party without a conqueror may be mighty indeed, but a party with a conqueror becomes a band of heroes with almost legendary abilities.

The Guardian

Clad in heavy armor that would break the backs of lesser creatures, the guardian strides Hyboria, a walking fortress of steel, iron, and leather, wielding mighty polearms or one-handed weapons and great shields. Where others would waver or fall, knocked back by a skillful foe, the heavy plate armor of the guardian insure such hits fall aside like so many pebbles. The guardian stands tall and resolute in the face of foes, secure in the finest of armor and wielding the most deadly weapons.

The Barbarian

Masters of melee combat, barbarians aren’t known for their subtlety. Their survival in the dangerous world of Hyboria relies on their abilities with a diverse array of weapons. Barbarians wield everything from the usual axes and clubs—two at a time, as no true barbarian cowers behind a shield—to mighty two-handed blades that Crom himself might struggle to lift. Barbarians with a little more guile about them may also learn the ways of the bow, or have a few throwing weapons tucked here and there for when things get dicey (or when someone makes the mistake of running, as running away from a barbarian is the surest way to die tired).

You know the Barbarian is SO me. Kill, Kill, Kill, Grab Booby, Kill, Kill, Kill! Let someone else worry about healing me. My job is to mash anything in front of me!

YouTube has been publicly bad-mouthed from a coalition of Japanese music, television and film companies for not doing enough to sensor their site from copyrighted material. The coalition is also expressing skepticism regarding an automatic video recognition & purging system in development by YouTube’s parent company Google Inc. The coalition has met with YouTube and Google executives twice this year to vent there frustration with it.

“YouTube has to stop how it runs its site and get rid of the illegal clips. We want them to reset the service,” composer Hideki Matsutake told a joint press conference in Tokyo. “There is no middle ground, We demand that all copyrighted material be removed immediately.”

I know why Japan is harping on YouTube, they’re tried of gaijin watching all of the absolutely ridiculous TV they watch and laughing our asses off! If you don’t want people laughing at, stop making nonsense for TV!!!!

I’m not a super big fan of the action-adventure, consistently kill bad guys for days on end then “Oh here comes the Boss!” but the longer I watched this video I did get a warm little feeling that it looked like a fun game. This vid got some pretty cool in-game footage and some pretty barbaric fighting.

Facebook temporarily shutdown Tuesday to fix a rather big glitch. Facebook users around the world were able to login and access other users account including their inbox as well as the ability to receive messages for other users. D’oh!

“This was not the result of a security breach. Specifically, the bug caused some third-party proxy servers to cache otherwise inaccessible content. The result was that an isolated group of users could see some pages that were not intended for them. The site has now been restored, and we apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused,” said the company.
