Rowdy Roddy Piper Joins The Forces Of Cobra!

In a strange twist of fate, Master Collector has revealed that the infamous wrestler, Rowdy Roddy Piper will be joining the forces of cobra, available exclusively at JoeCon 2007. In the late 80’s, we saw Sgt. Slaughter join the GIJoe line of action figures, taking on the role of Drill Instructor and strategic specialist in the comic books, TV show and toy line. Now, in 2007, the forces of Cobra, specifically Destro’s Iron Grenadier unit, have accepted Roddy Piper into their ranks with the title of “Iron Grenadier Trainer.” From the card art, it looks like he will be sporting the traditional bag-piper’s quilt and leather jacket.

This figure will be guaranteed to sell for $599 on Ebay, since it’s a pretty ridiculous (and therefore sought-after) convention exclusive.
