Microsoft Cuts Cost of Vista IN HALF
In a bold move, Microsoft has made the decision to firmly slice the price of Chinese copies of Windows Vista in half. You see, there are far too many people in China taking it upon themselves to save several hundreds of dollars by purchasing pirated copies of Vista instead of buying legitimate versions. Microsoft feels if they lower the price, people may suddenly grow consciences and spend the extra dough for the OS.
A better solution may be to develop better anti-theft/phone-home technologies on Chinese copies.

Eh, if they cut it in half HERE, it still wouldn’t excite me…I don’t plan on upgrading to Vista, ever. It’s so forced. There is nothing really worth redoing your system for.
